How long have you been teaching?

I have been teaching for four to five years. I started at Forest Hill High School for two years. I started right out of college and after my two years I was welcomed into Kirksey Middle School and I have been here ever since.

What is a major goal you want to accomplish this year?

The goal I want to accomplish this year is to challenge all the scholars at Kirksey Middle School to their fullest potential at every level possible academically, athletically and personally.

Why do you enjoy teaching?

I enjoy teaching because it's a difference that I can make, I have always cherished education and the benefits that come with having one and not just anyone but the best one. I love the fact of learning about each of the children and loving them as they grow from the beginning of the year to the end.

What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year?

I am excited about the possibilities that's in store for Kirksey Middle School. We are headed to the top with God right next to us.
