How long have you been teaching?

I have been a teacher for 7 months.

What is a major goal you want to accomplish this year?

My goal for this school year is to create a classroom of mutual respect and cooperation that serves as a safe space and center of higher learning.

Why do you enjoy teaching? 

I enjoy teaching because it allows me to be present to witness and participate in a scholar's new discovery.

What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year?

I am most excited about putting all the parts together (my graduate studies and life work, my scholar's determination, as well as assistance from family, community, and colleagues) to create well-oiled thinking machines.
