How long have you been teaching?

This will be my first year teaching.

What is a major goal you want to accomplish this year?

A major goal for this year is instilling my students with a growth mindset. I want them to understand that it is okay to make mistakes but making sure not to hold their heads down too long. The greatest reward is learning from the mistakes and being a better version of themselves. 

Why do you enjoy teaching?

Although this is my first year in the profession, I can say I will enjoy being at the forefront of students’ lives.

What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year? 

I am excited to witness the culture of Kirksey, develop new and meaningful relationships, and meet my students.
