How long have you been teaching?

This year marks my 5th year teaching and the 1st year I’ve been blessed with an opportunity to educate at Kirksey Middle School. 

What is a major goal you want to accomplish this year?

A major goal I want to accomplish this year is for each of my scholars to demonstrate significant growth, both in academia and with life skills in general.

Why do you enjoy teaching?

I believe that education plays pivotal role in shaping how the world will look in the future.  I find joy in knowing that the students I’m teaching today will be tomorrow’s world leaders.

What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year?

I’m most excited about getting to know all the new faces this year. That includes students, parents, faculty, staff, and everybody involved with the learning process.
