How long have you been teaching?  

I am entering my 5th year in education.

What is a major goal you want to accomplish this year? 

I want to strengthen my teaching strategies, learn new ways to engage and challenge my students, and use data and student feedback to improve my instruction.

Why do you enjoy teaching? 

I enjoy being someone who encourages, supports, and inspires students both academically and personally. I love helping students discover the joy of learning, building student-teacher relationships, and helping students become a better version of themselves in all aspects of life. 

What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year? 

 I am most excited to grow as an educator, try new teaching strategies, and find creative ways to make history engaging and relevant for my scholars.  I am also  excited to see my students grow in their confidence, knowledge, and skills throughout the year.
