How long have you been teaching?

This will be my first-year teaching! I received the highest award of Summa Cum Laude from Jackson State University and am pursuing my master’s degree from William Carey University in the Art of Teaching.

What is a major goal you want to accomplish this year?

A major goal for this upcoming school year is to find my voice in the classroom to provide premium instruction and create a positive learning environment to enhance the learning experience of all students in my classroom.

Why do you enjoy teaching?

I became a teacher to be a positive male role model for all students and assist them in becoming the best version of themselves.

What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year?

One thing I am excited about this upcoming school year is building positive relationships with the students and staff of Kirksey and challenging the students to learn and grow as individuals every day.
