Allora Rollins - Office Manager

How long have you been working in your position and for JPS? 

I worked for Jackson Public Schools many years ago. I was an entrepreneur and business owner of my own restaurant for seven years. In 2022, I had to close my doors due to COVID. In 2024, I saw JPS had an opening at Kirksey Middle School for Office Manager. I applied for the position and started in August 2024 as Office Manager at Kirksey Middle School.

What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year? 

I am most excited about learning the job and being an asset in the role I have accepted. I am also looking forward to getting to know the staff and scholars here at Kirksey Middle School.

What is a major goal you have for this year?

My major goal for this year is trying to remain present in every moment and learning to enjoy the journey as God leads me through it.
